President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that Lebanon was a source of honor and respect for regional states for its victory over the Zionist regime forces during their 33-day war against Lebanon in 2006. "Defending Lebanese nation against the Zionist regime, specially during Israel's 33-day invasion, was not only defending the people of Lebanon but it was also for all regional states and even for the entire humanity," said the president. The president said that Lebanon's resistance to the Zionist regime has destroyed selfishness of world arrogance and that of the Zionist regime as well. He noted that the future belongs to true believers and the faithful. "Iran's Supreme Leader, as well as its government, nation and senior officials are proud of supporting the Lebanese nation," President Ahmadinejad said. |
