The New German Government’s Middle East Policy? Print E-mail
Sunday, 08 November 2009
Active ImageDespite the unsatisfying details of his Middle East plan – which by the way underlines Berlin’s commitment to a two-state solution in the Israel/Palestine conflict –, there appears to be an improvement from past orientations. While the former Foreign Ministry headed by the SPD’s Frank-Walter Steinmeier proved to be quite disregardful of such an idea, the acknowledgement by the FDP, which over the last few years has consistently favored such an initiative, is without doubt a development in the right direction as how to handle the much-loaded Mideast crises.

Legal Regime of the Artificial Islands in the Persian Gulf Print E-mail
Thursday, 10 September 2009
Active ImageArtificial islands are growing in the Persian Gulf. These points can get new dimensions noting the existing trends for interpretation of international pollution as a form of aggression.

Monday, 13 July 2009
Active ImageSince Iran is a neighbor of Turkey, Ankara’s EU membership may directly affect Iran’s national security. Turkey’s EU membership can be followed by advantages and opportunities for Iran.
