U.S. must meet conditions before level of talks can be elevated

Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad-Ali Hosseini said that elevating the level of negotiations between Iran and the U.S. on Iraq depends on certain conditions which should be met by Washington.

The spokesman said Tehran has no intention of promoting the level of its negotiating team with the U.S. at the current time.
“The Iraqis were going to hold talks with the two negotiating partners”, however no date has been fixed for the next round of Iran-U.S. talks.
