US using N-issue as pressure tool

Iran's Majlis speaker says the US has no interest in settling Iran's nuclear issue, adding the matter is only used to exert pressure.

Speaker Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel criticized recent unilateral US sanctions against Iran. He observed that the Bush administration appears to be sending unusually clear signals that it does not intend to solve the problem.

"American behavior and misjudgments are isolating the country; the phenomenon of anti-Americanism has become widespread across the globe," he said.
