Traditional Treatments of Avicenna Published in Greece

A book on traditional treatment of Avicenna, the famous Iranian physician and philosopher, has been published for the first time in Greece by the country’s Bridge of Civilizations Press.

The foreword explains about the services provided to humanity by Avicenna, adding that in addition to being a philosopher and astronomer, Avicenna used herbs to fight diseases and used amazing methods to treat them.

The book has also noted that the method used for treatment of diseases by Avicenna can be used as a model for treating patients without application of chemical drugs which entail many side effects.

The book, which has been published in 2008 as “A Classic Guide to Traditional Medicine of Avicenna”, contains 412 pages and presents Avicenna’s therapeutic methods.
