Suspension of enrichment unacceptable

Secretary of Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani has said that Iran will never accept suspension of uranium enrichment.

"No one can deprive the Iranian nation of its peaceful nuclear energy right," Larijani said.
He insisted that the US obstinacy and obstruction regarding Iran's nuclear case would bear no fruits.

The top nuclear negotiator added that the recent agreement reached between Tehran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) was an important step towards settlement of outstanding issues.

He hailed the European Union's 'relatively wise' stance on Iran-IAEA recent agreement, adding even certain countries which are not the EU members such as Russia and China have approached the issue rationally.

Larijani stated that there are no ambiguities in Iran's nuclear program, adding the country has even provided clarifications regarding its plutonium experiments and has settled the case.
