Nuclear and Uranium Enrichment Rights

Tuesday, November 6, 2007

Iran will welcome and take into consideration all plans guaranteeing its nuclear and uranium enrichment rights, a senior official says.

An invitation by Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on forming a joint international consortium is still on Iran's agenda," the Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Mohammad-Ali Hosseini said.

"Iran will continue cooperating with the International Atomic Energy Agency," he added.

"Tehran believes that providing answers to questions and clearing up possible ambiguities between Iran and the IAEA within the frameworks agreed by both sides are the most appropriate path toward a resolution of the case," the spokesman said.
