No controversy on nuclear strategy

Iran's former chief nuclear negotiator, Hassan Rowhani, has said there are no differences of opinion on the country's nuclear strategy.
Rowhani said Iran's nuclear strategy has been under the supervision of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei since the very beginning.
Rowhani said, "I personally did not appoint that team. When I took over the post, that team was already appointed. I trusted them and indeed, they were very strong and knowledgeable politicians."
He described Iran's cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency as positive, saying that in the past and at the moment the Islamic Republic has endeavored to avoid the referral of Iran's nuclear dossier to the UN Security Council.

Iran's former top nuclear negotiator added that resolving Iran's nuclear issues with the IAEA does not automatically lead to the referral of the nuclear case from the Security Council to the agency. "The issue demands its own process, which necessitates passing a new resolution and the normalization of Iran's nuclear case," he added.
