Iran warns about enemies' plots

A senior Iranian official warns that the enemies are seeking to undermine the integrity of Islamic states to counter the world's Muslims.

The US senate approved a plan to partition Iraq in a bid to justify the presence of US troops in the war-torn country and continue to sow seeds of discord there, Ali-Akbar Velayati, a top advisor to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, said.

The White House pursues similar plans in Lebanon, Palestine, Somalia, Afghanistan, Sudan and other countries to confront Muslims, he added.

Velayati warned Muslim nations against the conspiracies of the US and its allies, calling on them to increase their vigilance.
