Iran Ranks 1st in Swiss Scientific Competitions

Iran has ranked the first in scientific and international inventions competitions which were held in Switzerland.

At the end of the competitions, which were held in Geneva on April 1-5 attended by 1,000 researchers and inventors from 40 countries, the Iranian team scored the highest points and ranked the first.

The Iranian team had taken part with 70 scientific works and inventions to win 17 gold medals, 36 silver medals, 17 bronze medals, as well as 11 special international prizes.

The Russian team also presented about 130 scientific works and inventions, ranking the second just after Iran.

Some 75 Iranian researchers, inventors and innovators had taken part in the competitions presenting 70 scientific works and inventions of which 68 works were accepted by the jury and won medals.
