IAEA report a success for Iran

Sunday, November 18, 2007

The positive report by the International Atomic Energy Agency is a serious obstacle in the way of adopting new sanctions against Iran.

Head of Iran's Strategic Council on Foreign Relations Kamal Kharrazi said that the IAEA report was a success for Iran's resistance regarding its peaceful nuclear case.

Kharrazi stated that the IAEA moves on an independent path in reflecting realities and settling problems.

He stressed the necessity of sending Iran's peaceful nuclear dossier back to the IAEA's Board of Governors, saying that in light of the continuous cooperation between Iran and the IAEA, only positive outcomes are to be expected.

Kharrazi insisted that no reason prevails for the Security Council to probe Iran's nuclear case, because Tehran has responded to IAEA questions.
