Full Cooperation of Iran

Wednesday, November 21, 2007

Iran's Parliament Speaker Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel has said the United States should stop embarrassing itself more than it already has.

"The United States should stop embarrassing itself any further by putting an end to the excuses it makes," said Haddad-Adel.

"The UN nuclear watchdog's latest report on Iran's nuclear issue is the result of repeated and extensive inspections that took years to carry out," he added.

Haddad-Adel said that in articles 39 and 42, the report clearly indicates that Iran has not deviated from its peaceful path and has shown full cooperation in responding to the agency's queries. Mr. ElBaradei's report confirms the peaceful nature of Iran's nuclear activities, he added.

"In the previous as well as this latest report, all remaining ambiguities about plutonium and the P1 and P2 centrifuges were cleared up. The agency received answers to its most important questions," said Haddad-Adel.

"In the recent report, the agency has confirmed that Iran has succeeded in enriching uranium up to four percent by putting 3,000 centrifuges into operation," he added.
