Monday, December 3, 2007

Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hosseini has said Iran will evaluate deeply before beginning the fourth round of talks with US over Iraq.

When we arrive at conclusions from our surveys, we will announce the time of a new round of talks," he said.

He noted that Iraqi officials believe that the three rounds of talks that have been held between Tehran and Washington to date have been effective. They repeated their previous request to begin a new round of talks.

Hosseini stated Iran-US talks will be held to help establish security in Iraq, stressing, "Only Iraq security will be discussed at these negotiations."
