Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said that Tehran is resolute in further expansion of relations with countries in the region.

"The ill-intentioned are not happy with consolidation of Iran's ties with other countries, but their demands will never have an impact on our firm determination," Ahmadinejad said.

The Islamic Republic of Iran is firmly resolved to progress, he said. He added that the Iranian nation has found its path of dignity and moves in this direction.

Ahmadinejad asserted that Iran has always been a pioneer of peace and justice. He added that every Iranian individual promotes amicable ties and progress.

The President stressed that Iran believes its nuclear case is closed, adding that certain countries raise a hue and cry over the issue, but they will achieve none of their goals.
