Enrichment activities inside Iran

Iran's deputy secretary of the Supreme National Security Council insists Tehran's uranium enrichment activities will remain on the Iranian soil.

"While we are cooperating with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on the nature of our nuclear work, we will continue the uranium enrichment activities," said Javad Vaeedi.

Vaeedi added that "Creation of a consortium to provide enriched uranium is fine as long as it does not require Iran to halt enrichment on its soil."

Vaeedi reminded that a similar plan was previously proposed to Iran by Russia ,but was rejected.
