Dutch TV to Make Film on Yazd

A broadcasting corporation in the Netherlands is to produce an archeological film on Iran to introduce its cultural heritage to the Dutch.

KRO, a public broadcaster in the Netherlands, has sent three of its reporters to Iran's central province of Yazd to film its historical monuments and other manifestations of its cultural heritage.

The Dutch crew will cover the cultural and religious locations and historic monuments of Yazd province, including its famed Zoroastrian fire temple, Alexander's Prison, the 12 Imams Bogheh and the Lari Mansion.

Yazd province has 6,500 recognized historic sites, of which 1,100 have been registered on the national heritage list.
