An Iranian Is Youngest Researcher and Professor of Stockholm University

Saeed Esmaeilzadeh is not only the youngest researcher and professor of Stockholm University, but his rare invention has caused him rank among prominent inventors and innovators of the world.

The 30-year-old Iranian professor holds a special research seat at Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences and has invented the hardest variety of glass in the world, which is almost as hard as diamond.

The glass made by this Iranian researcher has magnetic properties and can have many applications in communications. Another application of the glass is in security and medical equipments.

The new invention has, thus far, brought him a number of scientific awards.

Dr. Esmaeilzadeh is Associate Professor in material chemistry at Stockholm University.
