How do you see the future outlook of Iran’s nuclear dossier? Would Iran give in to pressures from 5+1 and cease uranium enrichment? Or on the contrary, Iran’s right to develop peaceful nuclear technology would be recognized in full?
If none of the above is possible, do you think that both sides would be able to find a formula according to which Iran could both keep its enrichment program and accept the Additional Protocol so as to allow stricter inspections by International Atomic Energy Agency? Is 5+1 considering more attractive incentives in order to encourage Iran build confidence with the West and would such a solution be practical?
Apart from the above questions, do you think there is strong resolve in the United States to end the current standoff over Iran’s nuclear case before Bush’s term as president is over? Or would the case provide the United States with good grounds to exert more pressure on Iran? |
