Saturday, May 2, 2015

Ja'far Mohammadi
In his latest public address, which has been considered among his most strategic remarks so far, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran mentioned very important points about the ongoing nuclear negotiations between Iran and the P5+1 group of countries. He also touched upon major issues that have been raised on the sidelines of these negotiations, including the continuation of direct talks between Iran and the United States. In fact, in his remarks, the Leader laid out the framework of Iran's official policies with regard to the United States.

IRI Leader's Viewpoints (No. 9): Twelve Reasons Why Iran's Hands Are Not Tied in Nuclear Talks?
Thursday, February 19, 2015

Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei
Continuation of sanctions will not be economically viable for countries imposing them in long term. [This is true] because this is just a passage; this is a juncture [of our history]; our country will leave this juncture behind. The threats that they level [against Iran] right now that ‘we impose sanctions’, [it is clear that] nobody but the United States and the Zionist regime are beneficiaries of these sanctions.

IRI Leader's Viewpoints (No. 8): If Negotiations Fail, US Suffer the Most Loss
Saturday, January 10, 2015

If negotiations fail, we are not the ones who suffer the most loss. Rather, it is the Americans. We are honest with our people. We say to our people what the truth of the issue is and they have already understood what the truth is. With different reasons, we can prove that the real goal of arrogance and the west in the face of Iran is to prevent the people of Iran from achieving growth and power. Their real goal is to prevent the increasing dignity of the people of Iran. The nuclear issue is merely an excuse and of course, there are other excuses as well.

IRI Leader's Viewpoints (No. 7): Why does Ayatollah Khamenei Support the Nuclear Talks?
Monday, November 24, 2014

The problem with them is that they do not want Iran's nuclear issue to be resolved. If it had not been for their stubbornness, the nuclear issue would have been easily resolved. On many occasions, we came very close to a solution. They signed the agreements. The International Atomic Energy Agency signed the agreements. It admitted that the problems had been eliminated. The documents exist. These things cannot be denied. Well, the issue should have ended. The nuclear file should have been closed. But the Americans immediately created a new problem. They do not want the nuclear issue to end. There are many examples in this regard. Resolving the nuclear issue with the Islamic Republic is an easy and smooth matter due to the nature of the Islamic Republic. However, when the other side does not want this issue to be resolved, the conditions would be no better than they are.

IRI Leader's Viewpoints (No. 6): It Is Clear that We Are Not after Nuclear Weapons
Saturday, July 12, 2014

They say that they are afraid of a nuclear bomb. First, non-proliferation has its own ways and this is alright. Second, if someone is supposed to be concerned about the issue of nuclear weapons, that someone is not America. America itself has several thousand nuclear warheads and nuclear bombs and it has used them. Well, what is it to you? Who are you to be concerned whether a country will have access to a nuclear weapon or not? However, we can give guarantees to those organizations that are in charge of such affairs. Of course, these guarantees have already been given. That is to say, it is clear that we are not after nuclear weapons. Perhaps, they themselves know this as well. So, the essence of what they are saying is untruthful.

IRI Leader's Viewpoints (No. 5): Iran’s Nuclear Research & Develpoment Activities Never Stop
Thursday, April 17, 2014

“Everybody should know that although negotiations between Iran and world powers are going on, the Islamic Republic of Iran's activities in the field of nuclear research and development will never stop and none of Iran’s nuclear achievements will be shut down. Meanwhile, the International Atomic Energy Agency’s relations with Iran must be conventional relations, not extraordinary,” Ayatollah Khamenei said.

IRI Leader's Viewpoints (No. 4): Nuclear Negotiations Show US Enmity Towards Iran
Wednesday, January 15, 2014

One of the blessings of the recent negotiations was that the enmity of the Americans and the officials of the government of the United States of America towards Iran and the Iranians, and towards Islam and Muslims became clear to everyone. Everyone realized this.

IRI Leader's Viewpoints (No. 3): Creating A Brilliant Islamic Civilization: Long-Term Goal for Islamic Awakening
Tuesday, April 30, 2013

A nation that has faith in the honesty and sincerity of its leaders will bring in enthusiasm with their blessed presence, and wherever a nation stays on the scene with a solid determination, no power will have the capability to defeat it. This is a successful experience for all the nations that gave rise to Islamic Awakening through their presence.

IRI Leader's Viewpoints (No. 2): The World Is Changing
Saturday, April 6, 2013

The world is currently in a state of change. Global structures are changing. If we wanted to find a parallel for current conditions of the world in the recent past - in the past couple of centuries - the conditions of the world after the first world war would be a good parallel. Of course, change is happening in the opposite direction.

IRI Leader's Viewpoints (No. 1): Everybody Becomes Tired of Faulty International Structure
Saturday, February 23, 2013

The UN Security Council has an illogical, unjust and completely undemocratic structure and mechanism. This is a flagrant form of dictatorship, which is antiquated and obsolete and whose expiry date has passed. Everybody has become tired of this faulty international structure.
