The Sorbonne University is set to grant an honorary doctorate to world-renowned Iranian filmmaker Abbas Kiarostami for his lifelong cinematic activities. The 2010 PSA International Exhibition of Photography recently honored a number of Iranian photographers with gold, silver and bronze medals.
